I am a Chicago Public High School teacher of 16 years. Last year while researching the Great Depression Causes for my National Board Certification I hit upon Austrian Business Cycle Theory (ABCT) and Mises.org. I have been a free market advocate since the 1980s but with no real economic/philosophical foundation to it. I couldn't defend it. I took an economics course in economics and it was just jibberish to me. Everything intellectually congealed for me last year and I "got it." Since then I have have been researching and learning like crazy. I'm learning as fast as I can. I changed my curriculum last year to include natural rights and free market economics - specifically teaching ABCT.
