My Bio

Hi people my name is Jonathan. I was born in Boston Mass but my parents are from the Dominican Republic. I am happy and thank God every day for giving me the opportunity of being born here in the United States. The Founding Fathers of this great nation did something that was never done in the history of this planet by establishing the principles of freedom and liberty. In my opinion "The Constitution of the US" is second to the Holy Bible as one of the most important documents in the world. I am a civil engineering student at the University of Central Florida but I have a passion now for entrepreneurship and investing for the past 2 years. I still like engineering and will probably work for 2 years to save currency, invest and to start a business (or buy a franchise).

All my life my mom and dad told me that "Vote for Democrats because they represent and help the Latinos and the minorities". I believed in this lie all my life until I found a new interest in business and economics and realize how wrong and confused I was. Instead of helping us they are destroying us. They are making us lazy and giving us this feeling of "entitlement" that we deserve this and that and that the rich are greedy when in reality the democrats, Latinos and most minorities who think this way are the greediest of them all.  I believed in the "Take from the rich and give to the poor" instead of "Admiring the rich and learn from them on how to be successful financially in life". And for sometime I was a republican/conservative until I realized they are the same. The Democrats/Liberals TAX AND SPEND and the republicans/conservatives BORROW AND SPEND in order to keep this massive size of government alive.

I thank God I had come across videos of Ron Paul and Peter Schiff where I discovered the Austrian economic school and Libertarianism. My ultimate goal after I am financially free is to spread the good news of capitalism, Austrian economics and freedom to Dominican Republic and to help increase the standard of living by educating the youth that socialism, democracy are the stumbling blocks as to why they are not financially successful as a nation. To build private schools where they can learn how make money being virtual assistants online for other countries and to place their faith in God and believe that they can accomplish their dreams no matter what is up against them. You are probably saying, "Well Jonathan you are not an American because you want to help Dominican Republic." But I think the complete opposite. I believe I am being a real American by helping people in other countries to be successful financially and to not have to migrate to the US because they do not have a future in their own country. Instead of bombing and invading countries like most neo cons like to do I believe that change can be accomplish through personal financial education and to believe in the principles of liberty, freedom and small limited government. Here in the US we have the momentum. Due to all this economic crisis the Austrian school and Libertarians are gaining momentum and I really believe my generation is going to bring the United States back to the principles it was founded on.

As far as the Dominican Republic I know what you are probably saying, "Well Jonathan good luck in trying to turn a 3rd world country around but that can never happen". Maybe I wont see big change in my life time but at least I will plant the seeds that will bring change in the future just like Hayek, Rothbard and Mises passed the torch to Lew Rockwell and Ron Paul we are the future. I hope to network and to learn from other people with the same things that I believe in here in this forum and to be proactive and not just to debate but to take action. Look forward in developing and making new friends in order to make our world a better place.
