Ron Paul fans plan May 5 'money bomb'

I predict this May 5/6 that the millions raised will garner media attention. How can a so-called fringe candidate consistently raise millions and win previous straw polls at CPAC? Seeing the ways some people downplay Paul again will be interesting as they strain to find reasons.

Ron Paul supporters have already gotten http://www.ronpaul2012.com/ under their control: “This domain name is being held for Ron Paul and will be freely given to his campaign should he choose to run for President in 2012.”

Bump.

It looks like they're trying to raise at least $2 million.  As of 1:17 AM central, they've raised $149,701.

I think I'll keep my money and buy an ice cream or something.

You could see it as a donation for "spreading the word." RP will have funds to spread the word of liberty, etc.

To paraphrase Marc Faber: We're all doomed, but that doesn't mean that we can't make money in the process.
Rabbi Lapin: "Let's make bricks!"
Stephan Kinsella: "Say you and I both want to make a German chocolate cake."

Just donated because I'm a patriot of liberty. And like Gary North said, the war chest is what gets Ron attention and clout. http://www.lewrockwell.com/north/north948.html

Check out my video, Ron Paul vs Lincoln! And share my PowerPoint with your favorite neo-con

Ron Paul is being given more respect this time around. The mainstream media appears to be ridiculing Gary Johnson instead.

That's what 4 and 6 million dollar days will do for you.  As North said:

Look at the expression on Bob Schieffer's face on Face the Nation in November 2007, after $4 million had been raised in one day – the "money bomb." This was the largest one-day fund-raising in the history of any Presidential campaign, ever. Just watch the first two minutes. He is dumbfounded.
