How do you know if the supply of money has increased? How do you define the 'supply of money'? Is there empirical data that shows tha tthe supply of money has increased faster than wages in America?

Thank you very much,

There are several definitions of the money supply. You can track the data on them here (you'll have to scroll down to find the appropriate graphs)
