From the FAQs section of the World Socialist Movement website:

http://www.worldsocialism.org/spgb/more-faq

Q: But why will people work if they don't have to?

A: People will have to work, but it will be voluntary.

Genuine LOL moment that made me spill my cup of tea.

"Socialism means a wageless, moneyless society."

I guess that means we get to legitimately say The Venus Project advocates socialism in the eyes of the Socialist Party of Great Britain.

This is classic,

An example of a major problem: even under capitalism, natural disasters generate tremendous volunteer effort and people donate huge amounts of goods, services, and money to help those who are suffering. It is not conceivable that this human response will decrease in socialism. Without the profit constraints of capitalism, such major problems can be dealt with quickly and satisfactorily

Oh wow, for the longest time I read this as if you meant what you had there, and I was about to go into a long response about how the response would decrease due to lower overall wealth and also about how the profit motive actually helps bring relief to disaster areas.

Then I realized it's a quote. Lulz.

I never understood the fascination of Socialists with getting rid of money.

Yeah!

Let's abolish money so I can get the stuff I want - not the stuff the evil capitalists force me to have!

I think this is an excellent point, because, as we all know, socialism acts very much like a natural disaster, obliterating wealth and leaving a swath of destruction in its wake.
