Also, what does your new sig mean?
It's from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

Et tu, Wheylous?
There goes the neighborhood.
I see that you're finally ready to destroy these impudent capitalists. Comrade Wheylous
So it begins, comrade Neodoxy.
I can picture in my mind a world without war, a world without hate. And I can picture us attacking that world, because they'd never expect it. -- Deep Thoughts, by Jack Handey
Whenever I see an old lady slip and fall on a wet sidewalk, my first instinct is to laugh. But then I think, what if I was an ant, and she fell on me. Then it wouldn't seem quite so funny. -- Deep Thoughts, by Jack Handey

Mr Ghemawat deduced that business-school graduates are particularly prone to discount the likelihood of market failures. If true, this is a worry for business schools. Even if they cannot be expected to calibrate students’ moral compasses, they should be able to instil them with a questioning mind, capable of foreseeing problems in a free market.
Maybe it''s because market typically solve said failures?

SkepticalMetal: What...the...heck...? http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Murray_Rothbard
There was a time - before the Internet - when Skepticism/Rationalism wasn't just about total deference to received wisdom from scientific priesthoods. Sadly, that time is long past and it has become just another religion.
If you think that one is bad, you should read the one they have on von Mises. Cringe-inducing.
But I know what you mean. Irony runs wild throughout the world as anti-religion has become a religion, blatant statism has been accused as anti-statism by OTHER statists...the list goes on.

Rational Wiki makes me rage so hard. Read the page on capitalism, and then the one on socialism.
Dear...GOD! It's as if someone put Data's skill for typing really fast into the (small) brain of TheAmazingAtheist.
Ugh, did you have to mention him?
Obama's way of getting two-terms:
@ Wheylous
It's kind of hard to talk about stupidity and not mention TheAmazingAtheist in the same sentence.
One dude told me that if there were enough evidence for square circles, he'd believe in them. That really sums up the scientistic position. Not a hint of rationality, skeptical only of anyone who questions authority figures, and more religious than theists in their willingness to believe in incoherent notions.

Well, I mean, if there is enough evidence, why not?
Empiricist! I knew it!
TheAmazingAthiest needs to be smacked by a Joseph Campbell book with a professor in religion doing the smacking.
Here's how it works, this guy colors himself as a psuedo-intellectual that's not actually a psuedo-intellectual (and he's actually not) and says something such as "Like, OMG, it's bullshit, see what I just did there?!" and then others without having a thought of substance go "Like, OMG, see what he did there?!" and post his videos on Facebook, and then wonder why they "stand alone" and become ridiculed as atheists. Every posts gets marked at the end with "freethinker" yet they've never actually thought about it and can't begin to read and question the jackass making the videos either.
SkepticalMetal your Humphrey Bogart avatar sort of looks like Albert Camus if you squint at it.
Why yes, indeed it does.

When I find the time to actually sit and read (maybe tomorrow afternoon) I'm going to write up a piece on Cloud Atlas, praxeology, and Jungian psychology for VR. Don't get your hopes up, could be horrible. I'm currently witholding something that I feel is too good for me to post immediately. I could be vain.
