Hey, I just got a copy of Human Action and it looks pretty big, just wondering: how long did it take you to finish it?

I read it off and on, so in practice I've never really finished it "in one time period", but I'd say that if I wanted to it would take me about a month if I weren't especially busy and I was trying to gain a good understanding of the material. Maybe 2 months if I were going fairly easy.

That's what I thought, I used to read fiction and I finished hundreds of pages in single days so I was expecting that I should do the same with this, thanks.

I bought human action and have not started on it yet. I have the Mises Ultimate foundation of economic science and that is difficult enough. I am currently reading that book first and I am not very far in that. I struggle to make the time to read. I have been reading it on the way home from work a few pages a day and it is the sort of book where I tend to read a paragraph and then sit there and dwell on it and i find that way i realy remember it. I could see me reading this book for a number of months at this rate.

In comparison I read a book on the EU, Europe: The Shattering of Illusions by Vaclav Klaus in a matter of hours.

Well f*** me you guys make me look slow! It's a good day if I get through 50 non-fiction pages a day if I'm really paying attention!
