  • Is Barack Obama guilty of murder?

This isn't really economics, but I didn't know where to put this question. This is in reference to his militarism and drone strikes, which Noam Chomsky calls worse than George Bush's.

  • Private Police, Self Defense, and Murder

In a anarchic system whereby your security and protection is insured to a third party who will investigate if you or your property are damaged, stolen, taken or destroyed, how are the murdered homeless handled? I believe this is similar to if a homeless man's bag of recyclables is stolen, as he doesn't...

  • Re: Liberty is not the ultimate value

[quote] Here you're using a different definition of "murder" than the one I used in that post, which was "unlawful/unjustified killing". With that definition, there's no distinction between the typical modern-day statist definitions for "murder" and "manslaughter"...

  • The non-state solution for Gadafi

Hi, I am really sorry but in the moment I have some very very evil ideas. I am not even sure if this does not hint to a kind of character error of mine but ... ...what is the non-state solution to get rid of Gadafi? Here is how I would solve the problem ( I am not representative of the libertarian movement...

  • Vigilantes

What would you guys think if a vigilante starting killing rapists and child molesters? No one else. Just them. Pretend it isn't illegal to kill anyone, and he's being paid by an individual or private business (non-related to the government).

  • Re: what do people really mean by "support the troops"?

Here's my thoughts since I've largely stayed out of this: Killing any person who has not aggressed against you is against the NAP and a violation of rights.ALL libertarians accept this.it's standard/ Unjust war: Wars of aggression,Imperialist wars etc.Include aggression against innocents...

  • Free-Market/Libertarian Anarchist "Courts"? i.e., how to deal with rapists/murders.

How do we deal with a murderer or rapist, in a free-market world? I understand self-defense, but let's say you were raped anway, and the rapist got away? Or maybe s/he is caught later.. what do you do? Do you shoot the rapist? Take them to a free-market court? We can apply this to a murder, too....

  • Restitution and Justice for Murder

How can restitution be made in case of Murder? The victim is dead and cannot be paid. Let's assume that the victim is married and has two young children with his wife. The wife could receive whatever restitution to which the victim would be entitled, but isn't it true that no payment or service...

  • People Food?

I was thinking about this case a while ago from Europe, where this man posted an ad looking for someone to eat. A few people answered but most backed out, and he respected their decisions. He even went to a movie and ate a pizza with one of the guys who backed out at the very last minute. Finally someone...
