    Hello, I remember reading a Mises book (might have been socialism, can't remember) wherein he deals with the idea of banning stuff for individuals' own good, says something like that it reduces utility. Any of you remember the exact quote?

  • Abortion Problem

    I believe in the right of abortion. It is woman's body and she does it as she wishes. However, either fetus or a more grown baby ( still inside the womb ), aren't they different bodies? If yes, doesn't that make the abortion, the intervention of the woman in other bodies without consent?...

I remember either reading or hearing Murray Rothbard state that one benefit of the early Progressive Movement is that it sought changes to the U.S. Constitution legitimately through constitutional amendment, as opposed to Congress simply enlarging the powers of the federal government on its own...

  • Drug Prohibition and Public Choice

    Does anyone know of any research on this front? I've been looking around the intarwebs, and couldn't find anything. I'm very curious as to who keeps drugs illegal.
