Born in Arizona in 1970 to an Air Force family. Moved to North Carolina where I lived until age 7, moved to Oklahoma where I lived until age 12, and then moved to Hawaii where I lived until graduating from high school in 1988 at age 17. I attended the University of Southwestern Louisiana (now the University of Louisiana at Lafayette) and earned a BS in chemical engineering in 1992. I attended the University of Virginia and earned a MS in chemical engineering in 1994. Since 1994, I have lived in The Woodlands, a suburb of Houston, Texas, working as a chemical engineer, project engineer, and project manager of capital projects in the engineering and construction industry. For many years, I have read about libertarian concepts for providing security without taxation. Since 2006, I have been actively studying all aspects of creating a viable subscription patrol and restitution business. This blog is the continuing story of that quest.
