others may have seen this at LewRockwell.com, too.  I live nearby and found out through the local news that the homeless were told to get out before the G20 started or else they will be jailed.  Of course the G20 isn't about helping them get a job, maybe they could take out the trash, sweep up the streets, etc... Undoutbedly the G20 is costing millions so why not instead of talking about economic policy they could actually practice it and provide some jobs, as short term as they would be - but then again they would be government jobs.  But private contractors could have been asked if they wanted to provide jobs for them.  Or private companies could do this on their own.  The point is the police went around and told them to get and move outside the city.  of course this has never been about actual production.  we know that.

One day one really pissed if citizen is going to bring his own gun and start shooting from the rooftops. The one advantage citizen's have over that type of police suppression is the sheer idiocy in their tactics for clearing the streets. They are 100% vulnerable to attacks from above and behind. They're advantage is fear and the assumption that the citizen's are ignorant in how to defend themselves from such a thing. In the case of student protests they are correct. Most students are retarded when it comes to that kind of thing. What they don't realize is many upper end police official's relish and live for the idea to participate in this kind of event. They will get promoted from within and develop a good career rep for issuing the order.

Still I think attacking back in this manner via protesting is the wrong way to do this and I think attending these types of events are probably unwise and just asking for trouble.

Even with that remark I can't help but remind myself of a common old belief which states that during the revolutionary war colonists were able to shoot redcoats 100 yards away. Modern police weaponry is designed for closed quarter combat. They set themselves up to fail from the get go in that respect

So this brings me to introduce to you all a program called appleseed. Not sure if anyone has heard of this before but it's a great way of getting your target skills up to top notch. People who take this coarse can head shot 200y with ease. I've been to one and even people in the Marines would come out and take the coarse. At any rate here's a linky.

Appleseed

Find one in an area near you and attend. Many folks there are going to be minarchists but most are open to idea's. I showed up with my Rothbard Enemy of the state shirt and was able to start several fruitful conversations just on that alone.
