Is there any cause for a sense of urgency in getting our ideas out? We all know the shit is about to hit the fan, but what we don't know is what's going to happen on the other side. My fear is that when things start to get chaotic with the dollar, the people will unite under a charismatic leader and we will end up with total, unabashed totalitarianism, with full sanction of the people.
The cynical part of me thinks our best hope will be other power-hungry would-be tyrants. I've heard several State governments have been throwing around "10th Amendment resolutions", almost as if they foresee what's coming and are starting to prepare for uncertainties.
Frankly I'm extremely worried about what's to come. On one hand a collapse like this is the only thing capable of breaking the back of the state, but on the other we have all the infrastructure in place for a totalitarian nightmare to follow, rather than a return to a free society.
To this end the idea war is important. And we've been making huge progress, what with all the recent attention LvMI has been getting, but is it going to be too little too late?
Does anybody have an optimistic outlook that is also realistic, or is the general consensus here that reality is telling us we're in for a vacation at hell on earth?
This country is too big to be completely totalitarian. Learn survival techniques, and evasion. Hide in the mountains. They won't find you.
Sorry to say so but shit is going to hit the fan and there is nothing anyone on earth could do to avoid that. Just be ready and perhaps prepare mentally to leave the States for a still-decent country. Some research would be good (if you come to Albania we can convince my neighborhood to secede from the country, let’s give it a go!).
