Favorite:

US Post Office - Excellent customer service - beats UPS hands down. Open on Saturdays. Perhaps just one lost package out of the last 2 to 3k shipments over the last 11 years. And that lost shipment, I am not sure if the customer was truthful or not.

Least Favorite:

HUD - horrific agency riled with corruption of the highest degree. Has perpetuated poverty and instead of alleviating affordability, has exacerbated it. Has been responsible for tearing up vibrant historic neighborhoods and turned them into dumps.

I hate USPS. It has lost over 300 dollars of stuff I have shipped, and it was not from just one incident.

Freedom has always been the only route to progress.

Favorite: Department of Energy. The funded the Human Genome Project (weird right?)

Least Favorite: Department of Education. It's a vampire we need to stake through the heart before it turns our children.

Not sure how you classify these in your system, but the Fed, the FDA and the FTC could burn for all I care.

Freedom of markets is positively correlated with the degree of evolution in any society...

My favorite: NASA, I love the idea of space travel, and you gotta admit going to the moon is an impressive(if unnecessary and wastful) technological achievement.

Least favorite:  oh boy thats a tough one....But I'm gonna go with the Fed, simply because most other government agencies couldnt exist without it.

OBJECTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you preface everything you say with the phrase 'studies have shown...' people will believe anything you say no matter how ridiculous. Studies have shown this works 87.64% of the time.

Seriously? Those employees must have been trained by Disney. The ones in my area aren't necessarily too nice nor to helpful.

Open on Saturdays.

So is UPS.

You're an exception. If you print labels online, you'll be lucky to get the labels scanned and entered into the system.

To paraphrase Marc Faber: We're all doomed, but that doesn't mean that we can't make money in the process.
Rabbi Lapin: "Let's make bricks!"
Stephan Kinsella: "Say you and I both want to make a German chocolate cake."

Favorite: Department of Education. Great example of government failure, and it's a very easy dead horse to beat. I don't think anyone likes them.

Least: The fed. They screw up everything, and they're good at keeping a low profile.

Daniel, I do print all my labels online. I still haven't had problems in terms of delivery. Now whether I can get tracking to work properly is a different story.

Perhaps I should have titled it, "Worst and Best of the Worst Government Agencies".
