I love the new layout, but don't you think the text is way too small?

Don't allow leftists to play games with definitions! Some of the libertarian-leaning leftists at this forum will try to redefine "left-wing" back to its original defition (Third Estate, limited government, free-markets, laissez-faire reforms, etc.). Fine! We non-leftists can't stop them from using their own personal definitions; they can use whatever labels they want to describe any concept they want.

However, they have the audacity to then use their personal definition of "left-wing" (remember, the original definition, which is no longer valid) to prove that modern leftists are more libertarian than modern rightists! They will say that libertarianism is "inherently leftist" (again, using the original, no longer valid definition), and use that to insist that we should prefer and side with modern leftists over modern rightists.

Question their motives.

I'm not fond of the new layout; as if the older one could not get worse... I wish the layout of the old Austrian forum would be adopted.

I miss the old layout too; I was relativley new so yeah...

Plus, this new theme is too empty & soft.  It has too much of a pretentious, web 2.0 feel to it.   If not reverted to the old theme, perhaps an optional style sheet that mimics the old style at least?

Yes, the text is too small. We'll get there. By the end, you will love it. Note that this is now on Mises.org, rather than Mises.com -- and sign that this is an experiment that worked.

I'm not a huge fan of the new look,  I prefer standard forum layouts like vbulletin.

Btw you can use ctrl + and ctrl - to change font size.

Did someone mention the text was too small? I can't see anything.

I just joined yesterday so I was really thrown off by the new look.  I dont really like, like everyone else says, the text is too small.  Also it just seems too plain, almost like it is an older version passed off as a newer one.

I felt the old layout had a more pretentious theme (giant sans-serif text), but I agree that the new theme is too empty. I realize that I can increase the text size, but it applies for every website as well.

Also, if you "view all users" and do a search, you'll see that long names are cut off.

Why can't we have a normal forum layout?

Like austrianforum.com?

So uh...what happened to my blog?  I mean, I can still get to it by typing the URL, but it seems like its ties to the main site have been severed...what gives?

I much prefer the old layout. I also agree that the text is too small. Does anyone know why the layout was changed?

If you go to Edit (upper right) -> Site Options, there is a "Font Size" setting.

Well, when I click "blog", it goes to the main blog list or hub and it's only updated up to March 5th, and I don't see any of my blogs either. Also, when I click "blogs on this site", it shows the first page and the list at the bottom to select further pages listing the blogs, but when I click "next page", it returns to a page that only displays the first page of the list of blogs and the option to check out the other pages is suddenly gone.

I see it too. If you click on the "blogs" menu item, the most recent blogs are all from March 5.
