Hi,
I'm sure this has already been discussed here, but I can't find much information searching the forums right now. I would like to know about wage evolution, number of working hours, etc, in the 19th century, if you know of any references please share them,
Thanks!
There is a book called Wages and Labor Markets in the United States, 1820-1860 By Robert A. Margo. I haven't read the book, but you can read a review here: http://mises.org/journals/qjae/pdf/qjae4_1_6.pdf Maybe it could be helpful.
Thanks a lot!
