For language arts I have to make a PSA of an injustice that bothers me. I am doing police brutality/corruption. I am having trouble finding goot articles using the filtered school search engine and stuff, so if anyone could link me some good cases of police brutality that I could use for my video I would greatly appreciate it. Any and all cases you could link me would be great. Thanks!

I was watching the news this morning because they had it on in front of the cardio machines and you can't look away. This stupid minority was trying to make a quick getaway, crashes his car, gets out and starts running. The cop car drives near him and he dives out of the way onto the ground while another cop runs up and handcuffs his sorry @$$. The cops were all white. It was the most awesome justice I've ever seen.

Whoa, wtf does the race of either the criminal or the officer have to do with anything?  Would it still have been "the most awesome justice" if it was a white guy and a bunch of black cops?

(I was joking btw)

No it wouldn't be the most awesome justice because the white guy would probably be innocent.

(still joking)

[edit] I brought it up because the news not only romanticizes our police, but they explicitly reinforce negative racial stereotypes.

Ya, funny enough I heard an Insane Clown Posse (lol, I am very open-minded about music; from ICP to Bluegrass, to Pop, to Chopin, and everything in between.  Music is, imo, the greatest invention humans ever made) where they said there favorite show is the NEWS because it's so bloody and wasn't some made up story).

The thing to me is that, race aside, he was probably being arrested for some drug-related incident.  I really can rarely bring myself to support the system in that situation.  ....Funny enough Corporate Avenger yes yes  has a song about that called "I don't fault the police."

People who hate rap should probably be anti drug war.  Most rap is based in black market drug culture.
