I summarize the situation in my video. I forgot to mention that the apartment is part of the compensation package. The video is better for this because I have included pictures to give you an idea about the city and the standard of living.

Let me know if you're interested!

I lived in China for 15 months and have to say that is a good opportunity for anyone who wants to teach abroad. I know a lot of English teaching programs that are total frauds, both for the Chinese students and the foreigners who get duped. But anyone interested should be warned that "teaching English" is a black mark on any foreigner's resume in China. If a foreign manager sees that (and the majority of foreigners in China are employed by foreign companies), they automatically assume you were overpaid, underworked, and drinking cheap beer and smoking cheap cigarettes the entire time. This program is for four months, which is about when the majority of foreign workers say they want the hell out of China, I can't imagine the turnover is outside of Beijing, Shanghai, and Shenzhen. The other thing is that you get treated like an alien the entire time. The biggest complaint I heard from other foreigners was that they didn't have any friends that weren't trying to use them for a free English tutor. 您会中文吗?您在电影中说了要找到一个"自由主义者。"我在中国取得了关于哈耶克和奥地利经济学派与大陆、台湾和香港学术界的研究,发现了很受欢迎。

Yeah people do get scammed a lot. For example, schools that offer to bring you over on an F visa. You'll likely get screwed doing that.

Yeah, most people can't take life here and return at the end of their contract. I've got this place figured out more or less. These days I even buy imported food stuffs on TaoBao - so I don't go without much.

我普通话会通。对,想找个自由主义者来到这里。这样呢,咱们合得来的可能性比较高。
