This may not be the best place to ask this, so, if not, please move it to the appropriate location.
I was attempting to locate a specific video on mises.org, but have been unable to do so; the video in quesiton discussed the time period shortly after the war of 1812; it talked about how the North was starting to use the political process to harm the economy of the south; likewise, the South was attempting to retaliate; it went on to elaborate the specifis of this, then show how it led directly to the civil war.
For the life of me I can't remember what the name of the video was or what other topics were discussed.
Resident Christian Anarcho-Capitalist.
Sounds like something Tom DiLorenzo would cover. Maybe you can email him, and ask him if he knows.
that's what I was thinking, but I'm fairly sure it's not him; it's some other gentleman I've not see too often in the media archive.
John Denson?

Nope, it wasn't him either; the gentleman wasn't southern....thanks though.
I'm thinking it might be Mark Thornton, but most of his stuff is audio (I'm not 100% sure of this though).
You might be talking about this video.
