The Wealth of Networks, for me, is a fascinating study into spontaneous order within a market Economy.  It is Libertarian to the core  and you can tell Benkler's enthusiasm for the "Networked Information" economy is well founded.  It's almost like it's a point-by-point affirmation of Human Action set against the technological backdrop of our still-fledgling internet.  I'm not finished reading it yet but he gives a nice outline of his ideas on Ted:

I couldn't find any mention of the book in a quick search here so I thought I'd share with you enlightened folk.  Multiple downloadable format provided here free of charge:  http://cyber.law.harvard.edu/wealth_of_networks/Main_Page
