Watch this Youtube video where Hans-Adams II talks about his book The State in the Third Millenium. In the video he says that government should be transformed into a peaceful, service-providing agency. The man is more radical than Thomas Jefferson.

I will break in the doors of hell and smash the bolts; there will be confusion of people, those above with those from the lower depths. I shall bring up the dead to eat food like the living; and the hosts of dead will outnumber the living.

And he has deeds to back up words too. Long live the Prince!

The Regression theorem is a memetic equivalent of the Theory of Evolution. To say that the former precludes the free emergence of fiat currencies makes no more sense that to hold that the latter precludes the natural emergence of multicellular organisms.

My wife grew up just 15 minutes car drive away from the Principality of Liechtenstein. I have always admires this tiny country and the freedoms it rescues for its people. However, being a Swiss, there is always the distrust that you show to monarchs. Prince Hans-Adam II has proven me wrong.

Sounds like this guy is the monarchical version of Ron Paul. :P

Liechtenstein is way free market. Go figure. I always thought they are pretty socialist and it works because of banking. But if you suggested the Liechtenstein model in the US you would be considered a laissez-faire extremist.

And the people want it, it's a direct democracy. They're voting down taxes. Cool. That really shows that liberty is about ideas.
