Also, can the uprisings and revolutions starting in middleeastern countries now be blamed on terrorists retalliating against Bin Laden's death?  Even though, they are revolting against the very big, police state government Bin Laden always tried to setup.

I haven't heard much about the ME uprisings lately. However, I wouldn't assume the report of bin Laden's death would make a difference. They hate America regardless of who's alive.

No, these uprisings have been in the works for years and they just happened to boil over recently.  Keep in mind that quite a few of these dictator/thugs have run their countries into the ground years ago and except for US Government aid would have real problems.

Of course not. Although I hesitate to use them as a valid example, the mainstream media in Britain is awash with the fighting over Misrata and the ongoing trouble in Syria. It does seem that the Arab Spring has somewhat stagnated recently but you can't put this down to Bin Laden's "death."

There is now world peace after Obama nunchuked Osama to death.

I think it is very strange how americans celebrate this as some kind of success.

Good for you that you got your guy, but did you need to destroy a country (Iraq) and kill endless amounts of people on the way?

Who's "they"? You don't mean everyone living in the Middle East, do you?

I mean the ones that want to kill us. Who mentioned anything about everyone in the Middle East?

I won't mince words. Islam is a philosophy of convert or destroy. They are the Borg, plain and simple. The liberals in American society pave the damn street for this genocidal philosophy to work its way into the American infrastructure, and I will resist it with all I have.

nooooo not again. I won't mince words, Islam is not a philosophy of convert or destroy- Quran specifically mocks forcing people to believe. And what constitutes the philosophy of "Islam" has an immense amount of variety. If you're ever in New York City I can introduce you to lots of Muslims and invite you to Muslim centers here, if you still think Muslims are hellbent on convert/destroy after that you'd just be closeminded for the sake of being closeminded. Or at least throw me a bone and say that not all Muslims are as scary as you make them out to be.

No afghans, pakistanis, no arabs, or anyone else give a damn about wanting to convert americans or kill them- they care about the US government constantly killing their people or setting up dictatorships and just plain trying to control their lives in some way shape or form every single day. Most want to come to America because legend has it you can earn some cash there and get a good education.

Looking at it from their shoes- the United States is the true borg, a philosophy of worship our policies or die.

I think you strongly implied everyone in the Middle East by your use of unqualified "they".

How many do you think want to kill "us"? By the way, who's "us" exactly?

Do you think all Muslims necessarily agree with your characterization of Islam? Why or why not?
