There's a new Lew Rockwell app for the iPhone. In case you haven't seen it, you can check it out here. The only setback may be the anarcho-punk-oriented "circled A". It may be off-putting to certain people getting into libertarianism considering how the anarchy A has a very strict correlation with chaos and destruction from the left anarchists. I was thinking about sending an e-mail to the developer just in case he or she didn't think of the possible consequences in terms of the projected audience, but I figured I'd ask what everyone else thinks first. The anarcho-capitalist flag is always a good symbol since it doesn't immediately arouse that fear of communism and disorder in newcomers.

Why not use the Lew Rockwell logo?

To paraphrase Marc Faber: We're all doomed, but that doesn't mean that we can't make money in the process.
Rabbi Lapin: "Let's make bricks!"
Stephan Kinsella: "Say you and I both want to make a German chocolate cake."

I didn't even think of that. That works, too. Haha. I don't know who to e-mail or I'd do it as a suggestion.

I think people should grow a pair of balls, if they are that worried about the A offending conservatives.

And 'left anarchists', for all their faults, don't support disorder or chaos.  Whatever that even means.

I think we should use whatever words and symbols we want.

But the Anarchist A looks cool.

I think it fits the attitude of LRC pretty well.  "This is how we fell, and if you don't like it that's too bad"  I like it ;)

Personally, though, I think the app would be better if it wasn't just direct links to the articles on LRC.  If it was styled in a more iphone friendly manner, it would be cool.

anyway, it's a good start.

I'd say disrespecting private property rights is an incredibly strong way of supporting disorder and chaos, whether or not that's how they define it. I'm fine with socialists/communists if they're also voluntaryists, but I haven't met any. Then again I haven't met any aliens but I believe they're real.

This sentence gave me a good idea. We should all work on a libertarian/anarcho-capitalist iPhone App that directs users to the most current, interesting articles relating to our beliefs, taken from websites like the Mises Institute, Lew Rockwell, Reason, Anti-War, etc.

SouthernLibery,

That would be really cool.  Especially if the user could select which sources to include in the aggregate.

I already use Reeder to read my rss feeds (which is a great rss reader for the ipad/iphone), which I find to be better than having seperate apps for each site.  But I could see people being into a libertarian/anarcho-capitalist app like the one you describe.

I agree, the formatting is pretty bad.  Still, if it's like any other iPhone app there will an update every two minutes with improvements and bug fixes.
