Something tells me these so-called security guards wouldn't find themselves any jobs in a free market for security...
It's strange how they'll stop a guy with an optimus prime t-shirt on, but when I waltz through airport security with my Rothbard "Enemy of the State" t-shirt, I never get a second look.
Was that in Britain or America?
Another UK airport security story that I have been assured is true is that a private pilot went to fly his light plane at Bournemouth airport. He had to go through security and secuirty found a Swiss Army Knife. The pilot received a lecture on how dangerous it was and then had it confiscated even though the pilot explained to security that he would be the only person on the flight!!
Did they expect him to stab himself in the neck? Rules are rules in this country.
that is pretty hilarious. back when i had longer hair and a longer beard, i was "randomly" searched EVERY time.
...the last time i went through the airport, the guy who works the metal detector made a comment on my Ron Paul hat that I was wearing - "It's a shame the media won't let him win. That guy is a breath of fresh air." I thought that was funny coming from a TSA employee.
