There are a lot of them out there, and I would really appreciate some recommendations of popular forums where general discussions regarding politics, economics, philosophy, etc, are conducted. I'm not very well acqainted with English-based forums.

And speaking of other forums, in the new community we have implemented a new global forum that I think is a lot better. It is ready to go. all you have to do is log in to the new community. It is still a work in progress and will be changed a lot. Suggestions are appreciated.
