I went down to the Occupy protests in London yesterday and handed out printouts of Lew Rockwell's The Evil 1% to the protestors.
I've also just uploaded a reading of that article:
I'll upload some pics shortly.
Government Explained 2: The Special Piece of Paper
Law without Government
Nice!
However, because this sounds like anarchy (it is!), which people think is bad and immoral, you could have mentioned that anarchy doesn't mean no laws - it simply voluntary association.
Btw, the article talks about the Fed, and I don't know how much British know of US monetary policy.
Thanks. I think people can substitute Bank of England for the Fed easy enough. It's essentially the same system. And the other U.S. data he mentions is probably similar over here too, i.e. the British State is about 1% of the population.
Some pics. There's more at my blog.
Afed is anarcho-communists. Are there any organizations in Britain that combat them?
What do you mean?
The organization abbreviated as "afed" is an anarcho-communist organization (which appears to be trying to spread its message). Are there any AnCap organizations which are also trying to spread their own message?
I don't know of any exlusively ancap organizations here. Ancaps are a minority group within the Libertarian Alliance, the Cobden Centre and the Libertarian Party UK. There are Mises Institutes in more than a dozen different countries, but the UK is not one of them unfortunately.
Evilsceptic:
*sigh*
Is it any wonder this community is less vibrant than it used to be when things like this happen so often?
