Weird that the two responses involve central Europe.  I'm planning on achieving that perfect level of intoxication where I become a super charming sociopath.

It's impolite to speak of Eastern Europe. Nowadays you must say East Central Europe.

Just make sure you type nothing but "FRIST!" in your OP.

Happy New Year everyone. I know it is a bit late, but I hope everyone is recovering, or has recovered and I wish you all the best.

Funny you say that. I spent last night finishing up The Ethics of Liberty.

Partying went into an "beginning phase" at approximately 9-10 pm Friday night which went on hiatus at 2:30 am Saturday with an 18 pack of Miller High Life.  It reconvened approximately 8 pm Saturday night and gradually ended (or "decided to slow down") around (or after) 4 am Sunday.

As always at my girlfriends the consensus before the party generally is "I don't think many people are going to show up" to "There's no room in this house at all" when the party is at it's climax.  The benefit of a BYOB ethic: you end up with a monstrous stockpile of whiskey, rum, vodka, and beer left in your kitchen which is enough to fuel the party over again at maximum effeciency.

I had always been impressed by the fact that there are a surprising number of individuals who never use their minds if they can avoid it, and an equal number who do use their minds, but in an amazingly stupid way. - Carl Jung, Man and His Symbols
