I recently came across this article that shows the Nuremberg Trials in a very negative light. What do you think?

The trials were designed to reinforce the legitimacy of the victorious governments in the public eye. Thats how come it was a crime to execute civilians but not to firebomb them indiscriminately.

I'm not sure if reading articles from a Holocaust denial site is the greatest of ideas...

I'm not sure your post adds any value to the discussion. Do we only act on ideas that are obvious the greatest ideas beforehand? Is there something on the site that might make me blind? How do you identify a site as holocaust denial without reading something on the site?

Wormguy, I could be wrong since I am not a World War II historian, but I see a difference between holocaust denial and holocaust revisionism. Read What is 'Holocaust Denial'? for a better explanation.

Uh, the Institute for Historical Review was founded by neo-Nazi Willis Carto for the express purpose of being an institution devoted to Holocaust denial, and has had links to David Irving, David Duke, etc.  It's not a reputable institution in the slightest, especially on these sorts of things.

The Institute for Historical Review could have been founded by Satan, but that would not prove that the organization’s claims are false.

That may be, but given its leadership and goals it's safe to assume that anything it says is false unless proven otherwise.

Uh, the Mises institute was founded by anarchist Lew Rockwell for the express purpose of being an institution devoted to promoting the capitalistic exploitation of the proletariat, and has had links to neo-confederates Thomas J. Dilorenzo and Thomas Woods.

The Nuremberg trials were victor's justice, of course. They had no basis in any sort of historical legal precedent except for show-trials, kangaroo courts and the other venerable conjuring tricks in the long history of victor's justice. That doesn't mean that the Nazis weren't despicable mass murderers... they were. But so were the prosecutors and the courts. So, go figure.
