Let's make a low-content thread focused on expat topics. I don't have the time to gather up all the expat and expat-related threads, but here's the most recent:

Liechtenstein: A Prime Site for Libertopia?

Please add others...

Yup... I think it will be a great reference to have on hand.

Here's an expat-related thread:

The Newest Fence Erected on US citizens (regarding the Ex-PATRIOT Act)

If I had a cake and ate it, it can be concluded that I do not have it anymore. HHH

Well, I did the obvious thing and scoped LRC, since I remember there being a LRC podcast on expat:

http://www.lewrockwell.com/lewrockwell-show/2011/07/19/212-the-greater-depression-and-the-international-solution/

Here's the more general google search:

https://www.google.com/search?q=site%3Awww.lewrockwell.com+expat&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a

And, what I think are the interesting links from that search:

http://www.sovereignman.com/expat/sometimes-the-grass-actually-is-greener-3509/

Also, might I add, a lot of expat links bring up Argentina.  I have family from Argentina and regularly go down there every so many years.

And might I say, that advice is completely idiotic.  There are better countries than Argentina.  The police down there are not fun.  They don't exactly have a good history monetarily or politically.  They're inflating their currency worse than the U.S..  The only thing that looks good for them is that they can't buy more debt because their rating sucks.  Of course, I'm slightly biased as my father left because of the Dirty War--but I think I should repeat that, my father emigrated because of the goddam Dirty War.  Don't move to Argentina.  Uruguay might be a better choice, I haven't been there, but from what I understand, it's basically the Switzerland of Latin America.

Expatriation (thread)

What Should I Do With My Money?

Doug Casey Report

Economic Policy Journal

Altucher Confidential

Blog tracking Marc Faber

Blog tracking Jim Rogers

I would specifically like to see discussion along the lines of "Where to move?" and profiles of good expat destinations. I know this is a lot of what sovereign man covers but it's always nice to have some non-in-depth discussion to jog the imagination...

I'll probably start a thread profiling a bunch of countries with me giving opinions on whether they are worth giving a look at or not

what about Indian Reservations?

Anyone know much about them?  From my understanding they dont pay taxes or have to follow the laws of the state or federal government.

One of my buddies is from a tribe where there are literally no laws or law enforcement (very small tribe that is mostly family), but the tribe owns thousands of acres.  Since the tribe makes the laws doesnt it stand to reason that a tribe 'chief' can give the land back to the 'people' and anyone can live there?  then the land would still be outside US jurisdiction because its US Law that the land belongs to the Indians to do what they want with.

Eat the apple, fuck the Corps. I don't work for you no more!
