I once emailed lew back and forth, for quite a while asking if he had a forum for lewrockwell.com.  he kept telling me the reasons why they couldn't really afford it. Then he finally mentioned these forums.

I didn't know these forums existed at the time.  This is basically the forum for lewrockwell.com.  He should link these forums on the lewrockwell.com homepage.

Just sayin, it would bring bigger traffic here and amplify both sites.

Sure, it might be nice. Are you going to email him with some sort of petition from users here?

If so, then

I'm sure William would love to have people come here to discuss why there is no moon, or whatever other weekly speculative article Lew runs.

It would be good for us, the posters here, and it would be good for many of his readers, but I predict it will never happen. It would look amateurish if his website linked to a message board of another website. Who the hell does that? Not a site which wants to maximize its air of professionalism and seriousness for sure.

@ Malachi

That's seriously the kind of stuff Lew publishes?

I was being halfway facetious, SkepticalMetal, but I was referring to an article that William (vive la insurrection) linked to some months ago where the authors speculated that there was a time within human memory that Earth did not have a natural satellite. Lew seems to feel like his audience enjoys being exposed to "speculative" theories, and William vents about this from time to time.

Oh, lol. I thought you were saying that Lew rants about how the Moon is actually an illusion and isn't really there.

Thats what I was going for. I basically assumed that everyone here would think it was a joke and half the people would remember some thread that no one remembers. Oh the embarassment of being a failure at internet humour. I am numb to you ten years now.

Internet discussion is challenging. Instead of the different moods expressed through the voice, the hand movements, the facial expressions and the body language, you have cold, dull, bleak, and pale text, so formal in it's inhuman demeanor.

Funny how Apple is known for their "simplicity."

"It would look amateurish if his website linked to a message board of another website."

Both websites were started by Lew Rockwell.  Both websites have pretty much the exact same material on them.  Both websites are about political subjects, speficially free markets.  They are almost the same website.  Most who goto lewrockwell.com also goto mises.org.  If they don't know about both, they probably would goto both if they found out about both.

I believe the link would amplify both websites.
