Is Clementine the only mission after Apollo to go to the moon?  Why keep the photos from this unmanned probe mission unreleased?

 

sorry, a small few have been relased, but the large majority are unreleased.

Fumbling  by nasa engineers caused the cameras on the probe to be useless and the vast majorities of images were not fit to print, and would be an embarassment to nasa if they were released?
