What do you do or should you do to spread libertarianism?

Personally, I've been volunteering for the MI LP and was thinking about buying some of the leaflets from isil.org and spreading them around. What should else should a libertarian do to help spread the message of freedom and liberty?

Everyone should sign-up and participate in the selection process for the Liberty Colony. www.libertycolony.com , the single easiest and most effective chance for liberty in your lifetime.

The most exclusive a group is, the more people want to find out what it is. Tell everyone they don't have what it takes to be a libertarian.

Some really great threads lately.  This is one of them for sure!

I really think we should start organizing on and off the web.  Form our own associations which can be partially or wholly apolitical.

Online, I think we need to start working collaboratively to promote our material, sites and ideology.

Offline, I think we need to start fund raising, and targeting opportunities like rallies, sign waves, speaking to church groups, AA type support groups, student groups etc.

There is so much that can be done, our opportunities are limitless.

I'm very skeptical about magic bullet sollutions like forming a liberty colony in the the third world. More realistic is to encourage people to migrate to areas in the 1st world where they can excercise influence - but again there is the problem that many libertarians cannot easily walk away from careers, friends and family.

I think the general thrust of the Von Mises institute of scholarship and education is probably the best one. Targetting University campuses is probably the best strategy. The one problem I see is that we rely way too much on the individual libertarian students to set-up and man these University Societes as being a student there is by its very nature temporary they often graduate and go elsewhere. There was a short-lived Libertarian society on my campus which lasted only one year, the founder in question graduated and no-one was willing to take up the mantle. I wonder what scope there is for non-students and ex-students to use the facilities of the campus to hold meetings and conferences there so that we can maintain a permanent presence on campuses and where our propaganda can do most good.
