Has the Mises Institute considered producing a series of educational pamphlets similar to the famous ISIL pamphlets? It would be a way for supporters to help spread the word on our own. We are apparently entering a period of economic crisis and it is vital that the public be educated as much as possible on the true cause of this crisis. Not everyone is connected to the Internet and even most who are, unfortunately, have never heard of the LVMI. Lets face it, most of the public is not going to sit down and read a copy of Human Action. But they need to be educated before we go into another depression and before politicians see it as an opportunity to ramp up even more government regulations. Are such pamphlets available from the LvMI? If not, would they be seriously considered?
I am an eklektarchist not an anarchist.

That's a awesome idea!
I would certainly order some and strategically place them throughout my university.
You need some stencils like the fine folks at PETA
Or their youth education campaign, gotta get 'em young...

Faux leftist art is actually a very good idea. It goes right along with some of the T-Shirts they sell in the LvMI bookstore. The T-Shirts of various economists, for those who do not know, parody the more famous Che Guevara T-shirts you sometimes see worn by (very naïve) leftists on U.S. College campuses.

Thank you! I am glad you like the idea.
No, LvMI doesn't have any pamphlets. I asked about it a few months ago, too. Though I agree, they should be making economically-themed pamphlets for common folk explaining the evils of the minimum wage, union monopolies, regulation, all forms of taxation but especially redistributive taxation, etc.

Just have to make our own pamphlets.
Anyone interested?
Yup.
We need a Mises group for this?
Also, the Campaign for Liberty just came out with a bailout flyer. It's obviously not perfectly market anarchist or anarcho-capitalist, but it might be decent for reaching out to John Doe.

Sure, if we are doing this it might be a good idea to extract good quotes from Austrians and Proto-Austrians that have works in the public domain to be all legal-beagle copyright-right wise.

Good idea. I just created one. It is open to anyone who wishes to join.

Joined. Apparently we get our own Wiki as well. That will come in handy for group publishing.

Thanks for joining! The Wiki will come in handy. Speaking of Wikis, have you heard of this site: http://libertarianwiki.org/Main_Page ? It is a wiki is intended as a tool for activism and all of their material is in public domain, so we may find some things on that site we can use. Just an idea.
