I have always suspected I was a true free market supporter, but was never able to really organize my thoughts. That was until I read Friedman's Free to Choose, followed by Dr. Paul's The Revolution. This has helped clear my head and given me some firm principles to stand on. The more I read about the Austrian School of Economics, the more it is all coming together. I feel that I need to read some sort of beginner's guide to "ASE" to feel more comfortable in my thoughts. What are some recommendations?

Thanks

Tyler

Economics in One Lesson by Henry Hazlitt

and

Economics for Real People by Gene Callahan

both of which you should be able to find on this website for free.

Read LRC daily.

http://www.lewrockwell.com

and the LRC blog

http://www.lewrockwell.com/blog

Also Lew has been doing podcasts, some of the best (in my opinion) are

Ron Paul

Mark Thornton

Hans Hoppe

Jörg Guido Hülsmann

Tom DiLorenzo

Make sure you check out Jeffrey Tucker's immaculately presented Mises Daily Articles.

There is a great Mises media channel on YouTube!

My favorite videos are;

350 Years of Economic Theory in 50 Minutes ** recommended **

Liberty and Economics

Money, Banking and the Federal Reserve

This one is a little more advanced, The Anticapitalists : Barbarians at the Gate

I have heard good things about Hazlitt's book, but I can't seem to find it on the Mises.org Web site. I looked under the literature section, searched it, but nothing. If someone finds it, could you link me?

Thanks

I have to somewhat correct myself because it is available on mises.org but not for free.  You should buy the book, it's worth it.

Go with Callahan's Economics for Real People first.
