Anyone see this? I actually have heard two radio commercials today for it. Curious to look at the endorsements.
Keep you doped with religion and sex and TV. And you think you're so clever and class less and free. But you're still f***ing peasants as far as I can see.
There's room at the top they are telling you still. But first you must learn how to smile as you kill, if you want to be like the folks on the hill.
Where do I start? This is probably not worth doing as you will not believe me but here it goes:
The issue is not greed, or greedy speculators, or capital markets, or derivative markets. The real issue is three fold caused by the Federal Government in all cases.
1. The Federal Reserver has depleted the value of the currency by doubling the amount of currency in the past 7 years or about a 10% growth rate. More dollars for the same amount of energy means the price of energy must go up as energy suppliers want the same amount of wealth per unit energy NOT currency per unit energy.
2. That is the rest of the federal government has an enormously complex policy on energy from subsidies to price fixes to taxes. Of course these regulations like most others fail to help consumers and instead benefit smart energy speculators and suppliers. The feds even get in the game of selecting the types of energy and the efficiency of equipment that consumers should want.
3. The federal government insists on messing around in the nations that supply energy. This has done nothing but create enemies and instability in these nations. This instability has caused speculators to bid up prices as they demand more money if the potiential supply has political risk.
So the best way to help consumers is by letting efficient energy markets full of suppliers and speculators deliver energy to consumers in the best (NOT PERFECT) manner SELECTED BY THE CONSUMERS. The best method is not to make regulations more complicated thus hurting consumers at the expense of suppliers and speculators, nor is it better to intervene in the affairs of foreign nations.
Nice answer.
