I'm doing a big economics paper about a topic of relevance to the industrial revolution in Western Europe and I want to do early speculative bubbles, ie tulipmania, the South Sea, and Mississippi Company. Can you point me in the direction of any good Austrian academic journal articles that I can use? Especially with data figures (unfortunately, my class is a mainstream, econometrics hungry one). Thanks.
Doug French just realesed a book on this very topic: http://mises.org/Books/bubbles.pdf . All 3 bubbles are covered.
