Thoughts?
He has the worst hair I've seen in my life. Also, he could use a tan.
"I often receive comments in which I'm told I'm not an anarchist because I support government welfare programs..."
noun
Gee. I wonder why people would think someone who advocates government programs isn't someone who advocates the absence of government.
Forget what I said. Habba captures my thoughts much more succinctly.
John James said what I was going to, but I'll add that the objections raised in the comments on YouTube are good, and haven't been refuted by the uploader. BTW, are you the uploader? It seems the uploader gathered some friends or created fake accounts to upvote his comments, because with less than 200 views, I find it hard for 9 people to have upvoted his response, especially when it didn't even answer the objector's points.
AAAAAGggghhhh
European "anarchists" and left wing "anarchists" are dumbasses. Chomsky constantly cites Bakunin and Lenin. They were more fearful of capitalism than they were concerned with the consistency of individual treatment that anarchy brings.
I am unsure how to even combine the state with anarchy in my mind.
This kid is a pragmatic statist, just like Rand Paul. "I support the government education system. But philosophically I do not." Do I need to bring up Gilbert Ryle again? You know-that, but do not know-how; this hinders your action and people who are in this field will always refer to principles before action.
This kid be frontin' 'bout shit he ain't got a clue about. He even admits he doesn't read about anarchy. It is just his observations.
Kylio27, do have thoughts of your own? (Not that I think they will make any sense or be NOT predictable.)
he is just silly and obviously doesnt know what anarchy means.
what i dont understand is why is it common knowledge that poor cant afford healthy food?
a can of tuna is a buck and half a head of lettuce is 0.50. $1.50 for about as healthy of a meal as possible?
dozen eggs is a buck, an apple is 0.50, virtually every can of soup is around 1-2$, wel i can go on for hours so im just going to stop.
Why dont people realize that the easiest way to poverty is to be lazy and not work. So reasoning would suggest that the people that work the least are the poorest. Then why dont people see that those same lazy people are going to go to be lazy with their eating habits by eating fast foods?
1-2 bucks for a can of soup is a lot. They used to cost .50 when I wa a kid. Ramen has doubled in price in the last 4 years.
Then why dont people see that those same lazy people are going to go to be lazy with their eating habits by eating fast foods?
Because observations like this are what tend to solutions lile, "Tax it!"
Fat people drink soda?!?!? TAX IT!
Transfats!??!?! BAN THEM!
Also, is anyone in here reasonable enough to see why Europeans (and their US-liberal quasi-bretheren) always tend toward collectivist anarchy?
The level of the lack of knowledge on anarchy is beyond humorous. Lots of compaints about corruption and big government, with more support for increasing the power of the state as a solution. Funny, that.
15-20 years ago, I was about this kid's age and probably believed some of the same things, knew as little about anarchy beyond the cool "A" graphic. But I didn't vehemently defend my ignorant position against reason when it was presented to me. I guess that's what made me different. I grew up around hippies and was born on a commune (old school hippies) so I got the whole anti-government upbringing without the modern liberal "hippie" pro-state position. I simply chose to accept learning rather than be spoon-fed the opinions and positions of others. I actually feel a bit sorry for the stubborn little shit, but he needs to pull his head out pretty quickly or just stop making the videos. He's only showing his level of ignorance in a public and permanent manner. I don't have much patience for willful ignorance.
Nope.
