So Olbermann and some actress, came to a consensus that everyone who actively protested taxation were all "racists" "rednecks", and just hated a certain black man.  Now, are they implicitly trying to tell their (few) viewers, that anyone who opposes tax increases and spending are therefore racists-boobs etc? Capitalists tools! horrors, cuz socialism only killed 200 million people

Not sure what to make of this

do we get free cheezeburger in socielism?

Bah I made it about 15 seconds in that video before I had to stop.  Olbermann is just the left's Bill O'Reilly. I recall that during the elections, he would do these reports on the GOP debates and completely ignore Ron Paul.   I don't think there is a worst statist on TV than him; he'll support any tyranny that comes down the pike, as long as the despot promoting it has a 'D' next to his name.

He went after Obama on the torture memos pretty hard last week.

The problem isn't that the left is mocking the tea parties, it's that the right is trying to co-opt the tea parties as it stumbles around looking for an identity.  So if the right was not involved, there would have been little media attention.  But because the right were involved, there was negative media attention.

I still think these are a good thing.  The right won't want to be associated with them year over year, because they won't want to condone such protests on their (future) watch.  So it will be good if there are as many if not more tea parties next year.

Of course a bunch of middle class white people picketing and listening to speeches is about the extent of North American couch potato activism.

I don't understand the "capitalist tools" caption at the bottom, just one of the MANY things that confused/disgusted me on this video.  Is this what normal leftists think about people?

One of the great benefits of changing parties from time to time is that you get to see that people are basically just as oppressive on both sides.  The liberals, who cry about the oppression of the conservatives in power, are just as ready to infringe upon the rights of the governed as those they replaced.  I had a friend who once said, "You're the wrong man for the job of politician merely by virtue of wanting that job."  I find it easy to keep that thought in mind, these days.

Just remember that the last laugh is on you
