The Moral Imperative

We often hear talking heads telling us that we have a "Moral Imperative" to expand the state.  These statements are never challenged by the press.  Such ideas are the intellectual foundation of the omnipotent state and must be attacked at every opportunity.

If we assume the moral imperative to be kind of the categoric imperative as defined by German philosopher I. Kant, than there is a plain contradiction to this very maxim, if talking heads are telling us what we should do.

The maxim goes as follows: "Act only according to that maxim whereby YOU can at the same time will that it should become a universal law."

YOU is you and nobody else, not your family, not a deity and not a government
