I have no idea why I'm only hearing of this now, but it seems like I've come across this at least 3 times today (even though this was happening almost a month ago). But this is precisely what I was talking about in my thread This is what you can do with OccupyWallStreet...
TomWoods.com:
This and other fun questions Peter asks of some OWS protesters. Scroll down for the video. (Thanks to my wife.)
Interesting to observe the comments at Hot Air. They love Schiff, and many of them don’t seem to have heard of him before. A few stealth Ron Paulians are playfully noting that he’s a Ron Paul guy, the (correct) implication being that no other candidate can boast people of Peter’s caliber, whom the Hot Air people admit they love.
(there is a bit of overlap in some of this footage, but the vast majority of it is different. And even the parts that overlap, you have better quality in one video, and in the lower quality you get to hear outside commentary)...
(I wish he didn't call Smith "the founder of economics)
He sums it up so well, I wish there was something better than a video recording of a television
In a related note:
Either Michael Moore movies aren’t that profitable for him, or he’s having a real identity crisis. During a live made-for-cable-television town hall event on CNN’s “Piers Morgan Tonight” Tuesday, Moore discussed the plight of those hurt by the current economy. When asked by host Piers Morgan to admit that he was a part of the so-called “1 percent,” the enormously successful liberal filmmaker and author flatly denied it. The IRS reports that the top 1 percent of income-earners make a minimum of $343,927 in annual adjusted gross income....
MOORE: Isn’t that amazing? Really, I’m here talking against my own interests. MORGAN: What’s the matter with you? MOORE: What’s wrong with me? MORGAN: You crazy man. He makes a good point. You’re in the 1 percent? MOORE: I’m not in the 1 percent. MORGAN: Probably 0.2 percent? MOORE: No. MORGAN: You’re one of the most successful filmmakers in the country. MOORE: No, I’m not. For a documentary filmmaker, I’m doing well. MORGAN: You’re splitting hairs. MOORE: There’s a big difference between a documentary and “Avatar.” MORGAN: There is. MOORE: I’m not that. Let me just say – MORGAN: There are people watching that say “Michael Moore, rich guy.”

Peter Schiff going down to talk to the protesters was one of the most entertaining things i've seen in a long time. It should be a reality show!
Austrian Economists Talk to the occupy Protesters! I want a piece of this, its going to be huge!
The problem these protestors have with people like schiff(like the guy calling him an idiot) is that he assumes that Peter is a racist white guy who hates to see people pull themselves out of poverty- when its quite the opposite and he's the one who's actually fighting for it. It made me laugh when he said "Doesn't everyone want lower prices" and people said "No!!" .
Most people have not read smith because his book is so boring and irrelevant to the 21st century, that they just assume what people have told them of smith.
Excellent videos of Schiff talking to the occupiers. I love when he said "I've employed 150 people. How many have you employed?"
Also, I like when he questioned the, "I'm also in the 1%, and your making us look bad" lady. She seems eager enough to talk about paying out more. Like he said, "No one stops you from paying more taxes." So why doesn't she? I get the impression she is as much in the 1% as Michael Moore is in the 99. ;)
Even though it's old, figured it was worth a bump (and look back) to go ahead and add these:
Peter Schiff at Occupy Wall Street: Full Version, Almost 2 Hours Long!
Peter Schiff at OWS: "Walmart Doesn't Hold a Gun to Your Head!"
I'm not sure what to believe with Occupy Wall Street. If they would just get organized and send a clear message about what they stand for, then perhaps I could actually make a decision on whether or not I love them or hate them. Because from what I've seen, it's this clusterf*** of socialists, democrats, communists, anarcho-sydicalists, libertarians, etc.
yeah that's pretty much it. Here's what was being said about it around here when the whole thing was at its height.
I also agree with you. I myself too did not like the book of smith. There are so many points mentioned there which are vauleless in this century. But there are a few points which are very good but they are very les in number.
