Almost everyone. I read a lot more then I post, and appreciate the conversations. The forum and the website are great. So much to learn. I appreciate LibertyStudent, Nielsio, and Grayson Lilburne the most.

I have gotten much more libertarian and even a bit anarchist since joining these forums. The State makes nearly no sense to me now. Whenever I want people to learn about anarcho-capitalism and libertarianism, I tell them to post their complaints on these forums. When people are done debating you feel like you got your fingers mashed in with a hammer but it feels great after a while.

Indeed almost everybody.

The Regression theorem is a memetic equivalent of the Theory of Evolution. To say that the former precludes the free emergence of fiat currencies makes no more sense that to hold that the latter precludes the natural emergence of multicellular organisms.

I've never seen Scineram post anything beyond 1 sentence sarcastic responses. Are you sure about this? Perhaps you can link something of his that was worthwhile.

Is that a biased opinion? Or can you provide some concrete examples of Scineram offering a positive critique somewhere? A link to a post would be helpful.

I'm not sure the point of all this was to badger people about whether or not their selections were appropriate, as if all of our choices should align with your opinions.

Lilliburne for his patience and learned nature.

Student for his mainstream b**ch slaps

Cognivist cuz he has never, in my view, been an apologist for heirarchy

Eusuric cuz he's always on top of his game

Libertystudent cuz his right-wing bias gets my blood boiling, and I always appreciate a reasonable radical

Just got out, getting ready for a masters program. Ya, Ive actually had someone say to me "Why are you watching the Discovery channel" with disgust.  When I replied "to learn things," I got this disgusting response; "ugh, I don't want to learn anything..."

That day solidified to me that there is a problem in the populace

Forget Desperate Housewives, it's all about the Jersey Shore.

I understand both- I'm first year undergrad, and some of the roommates/building mates A) like Jersey Shore (and the complete non-guido "guidos") and B) hate Discovry/Science/History channels,  as they have a hard enough time getting through their normal classes.

I'm so awesome! 8-)

Everyone I learn something I read a post of him and/or her:

- Lillburne

- Neoclassical (apparantly 'strangeloop' now a days)

- EconomistInTraining

- AdamKnott

- and many others who I've probably benefited from, but have forgotten their names.

My all time favorite is Esuric; because - in a way - I feel like he's very complementary with what I know, so I benefit a lot from his points.

Liberty Student for wisdom and support

Esuric all things economic

Vichy Army for encylopedic knowledge of law and *cough* a unique attitude.

Neoclassical/Strangeloop for injecting the neoclassical literature to this forum.

Clayton for being the conspiracy theorist I'm too lazy to be :P

Grayson Liliburne: For being probably the most polite, well informed forum member outside of the staff themselves. That, and for creating Human Action Comics, which I eagerly await the next issue of.

LibertyStudent: For taking a "hands-on" approach to promoting his political views, a trait very sadly lacking in most Internet pundits. That, and bulldozing through doubletalk and BS like a supercharged bulldozer running on fusion power.

Merlin: For being pragmatic while not selling out your beliefs, and because the world needs more polite Internet users from Eastern Europe.

Joint: Jackson LaRose and Liberte: For showing both the locals and lurkers what *real* egoism is, and for sticking up for your beliefs under high pressure.

Student: For being an unofficial ambassador for mainstream economics, a voice sorely needed to counteract the misconceptions and outdated notions some have about other schools.

Prateek Sanjay: Anybody who can make me overcome my prejudice against people with "default" avatars, and provide a perspective from India and one's own philosophy, deserves a spot on this list.

Joint: assimalilateur and yuberries: Because I can't decide which of your avatars is funnier,.

Gee, here I thought my avatar would be the one winning me a nod or two, but I guess the forum does get a bit serious sometimes, so humor can be a valuable commodity.

If I have time this week, I'll try to sort out some nods of my own.

Hall of Fame:

  • Grayson Lilburne - For knowledge.  The forum's Dr. of Philosophy.
  • Liberty Student - A powerful, uncompromising, force for liberty.
  • Esuric - For his knowledge of both Austrian & mainstream perspectives, and his ability to clearly explain both.  Simply the best.
  • Sieben - Best formal debater on the forum.
  • Adam Knott - He writes books about Praxeology.  What more can I say?
  • nirgrahamUK - For his ability to bring reason to a crazy post.
  • Jonathan Catalan - For his ever increasing list of Mises Daily articles.  A prolific writer.
  • Clayton - A sharp dude, well read.  Writes interesting posts.
  • Nielsio - Defends liberty.  Visit Nielsio's Channel on You Tube.
  • AdrianHealey - Remarkable knowledge of AE.  Good debater, too. [Edited that bit about being 19!]
  • Jon Irenicus - Patient to a degree.  He is hilarious when he "loses it".  The *bleeding eye* says it all.
  • AJ - Strong logical debater.
  • Conza88 - Don't mess with Conza.  He started the Freedom Images thread, one of the best on the forum.

Probably more...

Special Mention

  • Student - I learned if I am going to criticize the mainstream, I better know what I'm talking about.
  • Neoclassical/StrangeLoop - I'm not sure what to make of him, but he adds interest to the forum.
